About three months ago, the platelet count for my four-year-old daughter, Faith, dropped to 8,000 platelets per microliter, which is unusually low. A normal person should have a platelet count of anything between 150,000 and 400,000 platelets per microliter.

The doctor could not determine the cause for the drop and we were told that no man or medicine could help her to increase the platelet. Her body is supposed to produce more platelets on its own but it would take a minimum of 6 months to a year for the count to return within the normal range. Meanwhile, my daughter needed to have her blood tested twice every week.

Prior to this, a friend had given me Joseph Prince’s book, Health And Wholeness Through The Holy Communion. However, I did not have a chance to read it until three months ago.

After reading it, I began partaking of the Holy Communion with my daughter whenever she was at home with me. At the same time, we would pray and declare Psalm 103:2–3: Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits: who forgives all your iniquities, who heals all your diseases.

In three months’ time, her platelet increased from 8,000 to 234,000 platelets per microliter. Glory to Jesus! When the doctor said no man and no medicine could help my daughter, God could and He healed her!

I’ve already given two copies of Health And Wholeness Through The Holy Communion to friends with health conditions and who need surgery.
