When I was 6 months pregnant, the Holy Spirit reminded me of a sermon Pastor Prince preached 2 years ago about how the blood of Jesus has redeemed us from the curse of labor pains. When I remembered this, I started confessing it every day until my last doctor’s appointment.

During the appointment, my obstetrician-gynecologist checked to see if I had dilated and found that I was already 5cm dilated. She was very shocked because I had not felt any pain at all. She told me to go home and prepare to return to the hospital to have the baby. When I went back, I was 6cm dilated and still felt no pain whatsoever!

They put me on Pitocin to induce labor, and I began to feel the contractions. But they weren’t painful. The nurses kept coming to my room to ask if I felt any pain, and I just kept telling them I felt no pain. They were amazed! I knew it was the Lord’s work.

My baby was delivered very fast after that with very little pushing. All glory to God! I have another daughter who is 4 years old and I felt every bit of the labor pains with her, so I know how painful labor pains can be.

Since then, I’ve been sharing my testimony with every pregnant believer I come across. A co-worker I shared with believed and confessed the blood of Jesus and she experienced the same pain-free delivery I did! She even told me she could have more babies because she didn’t experience any pain but loved the whole pregnancy and delivery. Jesus is really that good!
