Recently, I had my first mammogram. A few days after the procedure, I received a call from the doctor asking me to get further testing as some abnormality was detected in the mammogram. I was terrified! Being a single mother of a teenager, so many thoughts raced through my head after the call.

That evening, I referred to your book, Unmerited Favor, as I remembered reading the testimony about a woman who had lumps found in her mammogram. So I did just what she did as was recounted in your book. I took my step of faith and I wrote on a piece of paper: "Does Jesus have lumps or cysts or any abnormalities in His breasts? No! As HE is, so am I in this world!" I also fed on Psalms 91 in my Bible.

Later that night, I praised God and thanked Him for His healing and protection. The next morning, I went for my appointment and as an ultrasound was being performed, I kept repeating under my breath, "Does Jesus have lumps or cysts or any abnormalities in His breasts? No! As HE is, so am I in this world!" I also kept saying, “I trust You Lord! I trust Your love!”

The next thing I heard was that they could NOT find anything. PRAISE GOD ALMIGHTY FOR HIS LOVE AND PROTECTION! Abba, Father, thank You!

Thank you, Joseph, for your book, Unmerited Favor. Through it, I have learned so much about what faith is and how to release it by understanding God's love. Reading it feels like reading a love letter from God! I understand that I can go to Him freely and confidently because it's not about what I have done but it's because of what Jesus has done at the cross!
