I was hooked on several hard drugs for 27 years. I went through treatment and I have been clean for five years now. However, tobacco still had a stronghold on me.

I tried quitting using Chantix, nicotine patches and the electronic cigarette all at once but none of that helped. I still could not stop smoking. Being a born-again, spirit-filled woman of God, I was deeply troubled about not being able to quit smoking.

About three months ago, I started watching Pastor Joseph Prince. At first, he talked so fast and was so different that I did not really know what to think about him. But I kept watching and listening and I ordered his book.

Way before the book arrived, I heard him say that as you smoke, start saying, “I am the righteousness of God.” I did as he said.

Two days later, I woke up to get ready for work and the first thing I did was to reach for a smoke. But something was different. God had completely removed the desire and cravings. I am so excited and happy to be free from cigarettes! I give God all the glory and praise!
