I had been working in the same field for ten years and wanted to do something different. I got into a master’s degree program, graduated two years later, and began looking for a new job. Despite submitting several applications, I remained unsuccessful and stayed in my job for another three years while struggling to pay off my school debt.

Recently, the Lord led me to pray in tongues every day. And in just two weeks, a new job opportunity fell into my lap! I went for the interview and was offered the job.

When the recruiter told me the salary I was going to get, it was significantly less than what I had been earning. But I decided to go ahead because it offered good advancement opportunities. I continued to pray and trust God that the job would pay off in future.

Later, the recruiter told me she had accidentally quoted me a low salary and that the company would be offering US$5,000 more than my current annual income. Not only that, I get to work from home and save on childcare and commuting costs!

All glory to God! I was so blown away by God’s goodness that I couldn’t help but weep. He always does exceedingly abundantly more than I can ask or think (Eph. 2:20). Thank You, Jesus!
