Recently, I submitted a prayer request to Joseph Prince Ministries regarding my performance in my year-end examinations. After barely passing my mid-year examinations, I felt as if top marks were unattainable for me and the odds against me were insurmountable as far as this important examination was concerned.

While attempting to study for the examination, I constantly battled with negative thoughts that reminded me of my failures, both academic and non-academic. This greatly affected my concentration as I studied. However, by the grace of God and constant encouragement from the Holy Spirit, I took it by faith that what I needed to learn was being taught to me by the Lord Himself.

I sat for the examination, but felt rather ambivalent after finishing it as I had left certain sections incomplete. However, I continued to trust the Lord for an excellent result.

On the morning that the results were released, I woke up with an unfamiliar peace and excitement. I felt hopeful with a confident expectation of good. When I checked my results, I could hardly believe my eyes. I had received a distinction! This was above anything I had imagined, as this was a particularly tough subject for me.

All glory and praise to our Lord Jesus Christ! His grace is sufficient for any trial, tribulation, and challenge. When the last glimmer of hope seemed to have faded, His grace superabounded and empowered me, and brought me to a far greater place than I was at when I had considered myself strong.
