I lost my job 2 years ago and was devastated, unsure about my future, and uncertain about where things were headed. In the past year, I knew God was working on my heart and molding me for something better. I started listening to Joseph Prince’s messages more and kept my eyes on Jesus.

Last year, a friend reached out to me with a job to teach English virtually to children in China. I was reluctant at first because I used to teach before and wasn’t sure if I wanted to go back to doing that. I decided to accept the opportunity, not sure where God was leading me.

During that time, a family member advised me to look into cloud computing. Not knowing much about the field, I began to learn more about it and went for certification. There were many times I wanted to give up and was unsure if this was the direction the Lord was leading me.

At the beginning of the year, I purchased Pastor Prince’s book Give Me This Mountain and started meditating on God’s promises. I felt like God was telling me to trust Him in this journey no matter the obstacles in front of me.

I took the certification examination at the start of the year and passed by God’s grace. I started to apply for jobs, went for many job interviews, and dealt with many rejections due to lack of experience. But I held on to God’s promises that He had something better for me up ahead.

In May 2021, I started a job with a great organization as an architect! Even though I wasn’t the most experienced candidate, the Lord’s favor was upon me, and I was able to get the position.

Thank God for His grace and also for Pastor Prince, who taught me how to lean on Jesus!
