My son was born with Trisomy 21 (Down syndrome). I went through the worst time of unbelief after his birth, feeling that God was punishing me or had left me, and I became very bitter and sick. I prayed every day for my baby boy. I saw very little progress. He didn’t walk or talk.

I learned during this time about patience and that waiting on God gives Him more glory. For all Jesus has done for me and my family, waiting is the least we could do. Still, we were bad at it. When we had no strength left, He became our strength.

For some time now, we’ve been living in a tent while waiting to build a house. My son turned 7 in this place. During this time, I was listening to Joseph Prince teach on rest and acceleration, and I took hold of a word he gave at the end about a child with special needs who would make great progress in the year. My son started walking a few months later! Praise the Most High God!

I never deserved any of this, and I never will. The freeing power of Jesus’ blood is completely overwhelming and is the greatest high a human can experience. Thank you for praying for my son. Thank you for always encouraging others to look to Jesus. God bless you and your ministry!
