I have lived a miserable Christian life for many years. I was taught you had to do good to make it to heaven and was never taught about grace. The harder I tried, the more I failed. I have been married and divorced three times. I’ve felt embarrassed and felt like a failure.

About three years ago, I started listening to the anointed preaching of the gospel via Joseph Prince, read his book, Destined To Reign, and started receiving his Daily Grace Inspirations via email. Now, I know that God hates divorce but He doesn’t hate me.

My mother is a Christian. So are my two sisters and my daughter from my first marriage. But my father, who is a good provider for my family, would never attend church with the rest of us.

We prayed for years for him to be saved, but to no avail. The enemy also put thoughts in my head that because my father was old and had hardened his heart, he would never accept Jesus as his Lord and Savior. Or perhaps he couldn’t understand the gospel because he only finished fifth grade.

However, Jesus spoke to me through one of your devotionals to not give up on my father. No matter how old my father was, I decided that I would turn his salvation over to the Holy Spirit and I stopped trying so hard. Within a few weeks, my 83-year-old dad was saved and baptized! And nine months later, my 10-year-old grandson was saved and baptized as well. Hallelujah!

I have two brothers who are still unbelievers but I know that God is doing a mighty work in my family. I know my entire family will ultimately be saved and I claim this in the name of Jesus. Thank you, Joseph Prince, for proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ. My prayers are with you and your family.
